Soon your Charlie’s soap shipments will arrive in their new eco-friendly reusable cloth bags. No more broken shipments and having to wrap and re-wrap the Charlie’s bags to ship them out gingerly. These Muslin cotton bags are sturdy and will be a welcome improvement.
From Charlie’s: “This bag has been stabbed, thrown, kicked, dropped, soaked, and run over and survived each time without a scratch. That may sound like artistic license, but it’s all true! Imagine all the oil savings from not having to reship orders or use plastic liners. Wouldn’t you pay a few pennies more to save the planet?
The new bags are reusable. Wash them and store anything you want safely in the high-thread-count bag. The draw string will keep it closed.”
Shipments will be a bit sporadic until their paper bags are gone, but we will mix then up as best we can so that every one will get at least one of the new ones until all the paper ones are gone.

We would like to be the first to let you all know about our new LiveJournal blog where we will post cloth diapering news and articles and our LiveJournal Community where we will post sales, specials, contests, etc. Please check them out and join or add us as your friend if you wish. We will update often and look forward to seeing you there! For your convenience we have added a page entitled SD on LiveJournal in the left margin that will direct you there.
We are beginning a series of articles related to cloth diapering and the economy entitled Diapers & Economics. Part I, about costs of washing diapers is finished, the article is in the left margin. We are working on an article in regards to comparing the prices of disposable vs. cloth, so look for it soon!
